Destruction Bay is located at Historic Milepost 1083 on the Alaska Highway, on the shore of Kluane Lake, 66 miles north of Haines Junction, YT.

Destruction Bay was a relay station for truckers during construction of the Alaska Highway. It earned its name when a storm destroyed buildings and materials here. A highway maintenance camp is located here.
