Beaver Creek is located at Historic Milepost 1202 on the Alaska Highway, 20 miles southeast of the Canada–U.S. border, 113 miles from Tok, and 184 miles from Haines Junction.

Alaska Highway construction crews working from opposite directions connected the highway at Beaver Creek in October 1942, thus making it possible for the first time for vehicles to travel the entire length of the highway. Beaver Creek was the site of the old Canadian customs station. The new Canada Customs station is located about 2 miles north of town.
Lodging and dining available at the Buckshot Betty’s and the Westmark Inn. Beaver Creek also has gas stations with repair service, mini-mart, a post office and ATMs. RV camping is available at the Westmark, tent camping at Buckshot Betty's.
